Several days earlier I have discovered the information about the safety break-in into this BlackBerry gadget and because I own one I would really like to make it absolutely secure from all intrusions of the hackers and other evildoers which are possible.
What am I talking about? BlackBerry PlayBook has one security weakness that was discovered not long ago by two researchers working at the Intrepidus Group named Ben Nell and Zach Lanier. This weakness is associated with the well-known BlackBerry Bridge app that enables Bluetooth connection established between your BlackBerry smartphone and the PlayBook tablet to instantly share e-mails and necessary calendar info without the liability to store it at your BlackBerry PlayBook.
The authorization token of the Bridge Bluetooth connection must be contained in secured file but at the same time when the Bridge Bluetooth connection is established it can be easily accessed by any user logged into the system or application running simultaneously. Thus any hacker is able to get access to your BlackBerry PlayBook using this security breaking bug.
If you forgot to create and place the password for your BlackBerry access, this hypothetical hacker does not even need to maintain this special BlackBerry Bridge Bluetooth connection and can simply use any connectivity means available at the moment to make his or her dirty job. Or upload the malicious app to your BlackBerry smartphone and this app will have all access privileges.
In order to influence the situation and to make it change in the way you want (I mean to cover this security breach at least to the time of PlayBook 2 will be released because developers have promised to fix this bug in the new version) you can protect BlackBerry wireless connection of your PlayBook as it is recommended at Jammer Store Wiki and in that way make your e-mail letters and info from your calendar secure from those hackers. And bear in mind using antivirus programs!
